Project Description: |
Our Client is in need of a Sr. or Principal level C# Developer (full-time position) to work on developing new trading functionality for the system. It is an opportunity to work with a very senior level, growing software team recognized as the strongest in the industry.

Required Skills: |
Influencing and impacting the architecture, standards, and implementation for next generation Windows GUI applications in C# and Java services.
Candidate will also work closely with the server teams and must be capable of spanning both Java and C# technologies.
Sr. individual contributor working within a team of 90+ of the top engineers. Work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment similar to a start-up company. |
Other Information: |
Eight or more years of commercial software development, proficient in developing multi-tier solutions.
MUST possess a BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent.
Technical experience includes strong C# GUI and Java services programming, ADO, SOAP, XML, and SQL database programming.
Strong with OO design and development.
Minimum 2-3 years+ of C# experience focused on windows forms.
Java and web services experience.
Financial industry experience is ideal. Specific development experience on a trading application a huge plus.
Product delivery experience: have been key in developing and supporting commercial software products which were sold to non-technical customers in vertical markets.
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), good interpersonal skills, ability to gather and understand requirements in the financial sector.
