Project Description:
Our client in New Jersey seeks a PeopleSoft Developer. The individual holding this position will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting applications in a PeopleSoft 8.9, Oracle 10g, Unix environment. As part of the team responsible for the development and support of Human Resources, Benefits Administration, Pension, Time and Labor, North American Payroll applications and interfaces, this individual will report to the Applications Project Manager within that group.

Responsibilities:
- Full life-cycle development of PeopleSoft applications including Human Resources, Benefits Administration, Pension, Time and Labor, North American Payroll applications and interfaces and reports. This includes, but is not limited to analysis, design, coding, testing, documentation, and trouble-shooting.
- Full life-cycle development of interfaces into and out of PeopleSoft.
- Production support for Human Resources, Benefits Administration, Pension, Time and Labor, North American Payroll applications and all interfaces.
- Assists Technical Specialist in gathering and analyzing business r

Required Skills:
SPECIFIC SKILLS REQUIRED (software, languages, etc.):
- Oracle PL/SQL development on Oracle 9i or above (table design, stored procedures, triggers)
- Unix shell scripting
- PeopleSoft 8.9 application and People Tools development
- Understanding of Human Resources, Benefits Administration, Pension, Time and Labor, and North American Payroll business processes.
- People Code development
- Application Engine development
- Component Interface development
- SQR development
- PS Query
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (Must Have):
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering
- 8 years PeopleSoft development experience (experience with Human Resource, Benefits Administration, Pension, Time and Labor, and North American Payroll modules)
- Experience with release 8.9 and People Tools 8.4x a must.
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
