Project Description: |
Our direct client in Northern New Jersey has an immediate opening for a Business Objects Senior Developer. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing enterprise-class applications using Business Objects and WebIntelligence technologies; trouble-shooting and maintaining existing Business Objects and WebIntelligence applications; designing and modifying complex Universes with Oracle, SQL Server, and DB2 backend databases; developing Oracle components (Stored Procedures, Views, etc) in support of applications; Server Administration and CMS configuration (security, scheduling, etc); developing technical specifications for applications.

Required Skills: |
7+ plus years in I.T. and 5+ years developing enterprise-class applications in Business Objects technologies (XIR2, WebI, BO Publisher, BO Broadcast Agent) using disciplined SDLC and Change Management methodologies; 5+ years experience with WebIntelligence using disciplined software development methodologies; Oracle 9i & 10g, SQL Server, DB2 (AS/400), Visual Basic, JavaScript, XML, HTML, Windows XP, Windows 2000, UNIX; experience with root-cause analysis and troubleshooting applications issues; experience developing test plans and test cases in support of Unit and End User testing; experience in preparing and presenting status updates for assigned tasks/projects; excellent documentation and communication skills and Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Computer Science.

| Desirable experience: Experience converting Business Objects 6.x applications to XIR2; experience developing Oracle Stored Procedures, Packages and views); experience with Business Objects SDK and apparel industry experience. |
