Project Description: |
Our direct client has an immediate need for an ecommerce expert with having professional experience in a senior developer or architectural role. The architect will be hands-on engineer and works with a team of 3 to 5 developers and technical analysts enhancing and operating existing platform. Our client is in the process of migrating to a new ecommerce platform. The candidate will play an architect role in help migrating to the new ecommerce platform.
Responsibilities:
- Design patterns, OO, and demonstrable experience producing n-tier architecture.
- The lead architect is responsible for designing the next generation application framework and production software.
- Design, document, code, and lead/mentor a team of engineers, by example, to satisfy all business requirements defined.
- Evaluate business requirements for technical feasibility and estimates for development.
- Perform technical design, software development and testing on application features.
- Promote and ensure software reusability and maintainability.
- Define and enforce technical standards and best practices.
- Develop, improve, and enforce software development processe |
Required Skills: |
- Experienced in developing highly scalable consumer facing e-commerce application.
- A team leader and expert in .NET architecture and design.
- Experience designing and leading teams building high reliability systems in a multi-tenantable environment.
- Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming and Methodologies.
- Senior-level Microsoft technical depth and design pattern knowledge.
- Experience in designing Service Oriented Architectures.
- Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
- Expert level knowledge of Microsoft .NET framework.
- Experience with relational database development using MS SQL 2000/2005 server, stored procedures and competencies in data modeling and database design.
- XML, XSL, XSLT, Java Script, AJAX and Web Service Standards, i.e. WS-*.
