Project Description:
Manages and coordinates product development projects. Evaluates and resolves technical feasibility, design optimization, and production issues. Ensures that labeling and marketing/promotional literature match product specifications. Researches and monitors existing client base and industry developments and identifies potential new product opportunities. Works with other departments to establish a design, technology, product development, and vendor strategy. Manages project budgets and prepares financial analysis reports for top management. May require a bachelor's degree with at least 7 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to top management.
Responsibilities include:
Work with the development team to specify, build, test, and launch new SEO products, features, and experiments;
Communicate updates on KPI benchmarks and reporting results;
Analyze the competition, conduct keyword research; and write on page optimizations
Identify duplicate content, broken links, and other potential issues;
Manage XML sitemaps, and relationships with search engines
Work with designers, editors and product managers to educate and evangelize on SEO
Develop and manage site standards for SEO best practices
Manage all off page SEO including manual directory submissions, manual search engine submissions to Google, Yahoo, and Bing, search submission verification, performance reports, social bookmarking, offsite blog/forum postings, link building and blog comments. A strong understanding of social media and SEO is a plus.
