Required Skills:
Minimum of 5-7 years practicing user experience design Demonstrable mastery of user interface principles (eg. chunking, explorability) Solid understanding of basic design skills (eg. typography, color, grids) Excellent facilitation, white-boarding, presentation & team collaboration skills Experience with early stage/new product conceptualization Bachelors degree in any field Must posses an online portfolio or provide samples of your work that demonstrate these competencies and experiences Experience with Web or desktop software and with leveraging rich clients in innovative ways is a BIG PLUS. Previous Search experience a plus. Background or experience with ethnographic research a plus Financial experience a plus. Products are built in .Net and WPF so knowledge is both are good.
Other Information:
Agency experience is a PLUS - experience within any big design firm. Candidate should have worked on larger scale projects. Prefer candidates NOT in marketing/fashion, There is a RAPID development cycle (AGILE). As stated above, some products are already in demo stage. The designer is likely to see real time results due to this.
