Role Overview: The Swiss DWH platform has been used successfully for over 10 years. This success model can now be expanded for global usage. The technology stack needs to be adopted to accommodate for regional differences and processes, mainly around development, need to be adapted. The mission is to lead and manage the whole project to establish a DWH Hub in New York. Key Deliverables: The scope of the project is to design and implement a regional hub for outside of Switzerland in NY including integration layer (subject matter DBs), data marts and reporting platform according to the global DWH reference architecture. Required Skills:
Qualifications: Master degree in Information Technology 6 years plus Experience in Data warehouse implementation projects 3 years plus with architectural responsibility in Data warehouse projects Knowledge of Data warehouse technologies Technical skills required: Expert Knowledge in Sun Solaris 10 (Shell scripting), Linux, Oracle 11g, Informatica PowerCenter 8.1 and 8.6 Experience with Warehouse related hardware (Server, Storage, SAN, etc.) Experience with at least one programming language (Java, C, C++) Experience with a least one BI Tool suite (SAP/BO, MS BI, OBI EE)
