The ideal candidate will provide services to the development organization that include the design, deployment and maintenance of a real time enterprise; provide day-to-day technical insight to development and architecture teams; work in close-knit and extended teams to mentor team members and leverage team building experience; work directly with business owners, business analysts and Information Services (IS) Project Managers to elicit and document business requirements for enhancements and new projects; work within world class process and methodologies such as RUP, CMMi, Extreme Programming and Agile Programming; provide process orientation and participate in various team activities; serve as a subject matter experienced individual for emerging technologies; present enterprise architecture and vision to senior leadership; assist in creating a "learning environment" where additional development resources can quickly come up to speed with our client's development tools and methods; participate in creating a working environment conducive to code re-use and the development of re-usable components; work with the Operations and Support group to define and implement processes to effectively transition from ''Project'' development to ''On-going Operations'' while maximizing quality and minimizing time.

Required Skills:
7+ years of experience in an application development group using various technologies; extensive experience with hands on Microsoft development tools that include: Visual Basic, VB.NET, SQL Server, .NET Framework, HTML, ASP, ASP.NET, Visual Studio, IIS, MSMQ, COM+, XML, XSL, and XSLT; strong knowledge of Microsoft development technologies and architectures to deliver n-tiered Web and desktop applications (.NET, COM, COM+, and XML); able to design N-tiered application architecture; solid knowledge of Internet and e-Business Application development; strong knowledge of database architecture and modeling (SQL); practical knowledge of EAI concepts and principals; experience with evaluating and integrating third party products, application implementation and support procedures and requirements gathering and business process analysis; familiarity with SDLC methodologies such as RUP/UML or CMM; excellent executive-level communication and presentation skills; experience with application full life cycles - requirements to deployment and support; experience establishing application development standards in a large firm in a global context. Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science or related field from an accredited college/university.
