Project Description:
Our direct client seeks a full-time SAS EBI and SAS Platform Administrator. Manages the SAS architecture resources of the organization. Ensures data integrity, accessibility, and security. Job scheduling, workspace structures and user space administration and tracking. Administers data recovery and eliminates data redundancy. Improves database performance through diagnostics and tuning tools. Utilizes data modeling techniques to analyze and specify data usage within an application area. Defines logical and physical data structures, and both front and back ends of the data management environment.
Required Skills:
- Demonstrated ability to perform as SAS administrator and SAS developer using SAS Server Architecture. - Experience in extracting, transforming and loading source data into the SAS environment from multiple sources including major DBMS and application system transaction files, third-party software packages, and spreadsheet applications. - Strong familiarity with Terradata development and execution environments, and state-of-the-industry reporting and data management tools. - Experience with SAS Security. - Minimum 4 years experience on SAS version 9.1.3 required, version 9.2 highly preferred. - Knowledgeable and experienced in implementing and optimizing Windows-based SAS products within existing infrastructures. - Ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders: technical and end-user, staff and management. - Ability to work independently. - Bachelor degree. - Excellent communication skills.
